Countries and Currencies of The World: There are more than 200 countries in the world and each country uses a different currency. The most popular currencies in the world are the dollar, euro, pound, dinar, rial, yen etc.

When travelling from one country to another, a currency exchange needs to be done in order to perform transactions in that country.

Currency is issued by the government, it is also called legal tender. The value of the currency does not remain constant and changes every day.  The value of one currency is different in different countries.

For e.g., 1 Dollar is priced at Rs.79.76 in India while the same will be equal to 1.01 Euro in European Union.
