Who doesn’t recognise the one-of-a-kind sound of “Live is Life”? The iconic song was recorded back in 1984, but is still as much alive today as it was four decades ago.

A number 1 hit in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Spain, and Canada, and honoured with gold and platin records in numerous countries, “Live is Life” is still being played on radio stations worldwide as well as at sports events.

For the Women’s EHF EURO 2024, Austrian cult band OPUS has recorded a version adapted to suit the championship. They were joined in the studio by the Schick Sisters – Katharina, Christine, and Veronika – who added their unmistakable voices to the band.

“Live is Life – Catch the Spirit” was first presented at the EHF EURO preliminary round draw in Vienna last April.

The catchy video to go with the official song has now been released as well. Lean back and watch OPUS and the Schick Sisters perform the tune that will accompany you throughout the tournament from 28 November until 15 December.

With 100 days to go until throw-off, the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 feels a big step closer as of today!
