The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 244th consecutive day on Monday.
The Canadian Dollar (CAD) could drop to Rs. 195 this week after today’s close. The country’s struggles with US trade offer room for PKR to take advantage, a day trader told ProPakistani.
Meanwhile, PKR closed at 277.25 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
The rupee has consistently reported gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.
Other Currencies
The rupee lost 56 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 18 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD).
It lost seven paisas against the Euro (EUR) but gained 14 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
PKR closed in green against both the UAE Dirham (AED) and the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
