A psychic has made a series of predictions about what’s to come in the new year, and she warned the pound, dollar and euro could eventually be replaced by a single digital world currency – in what she called a dramatic shift in global finance.
Selina Avalon, who claims to regularly correctly predict major global events, is a psychic medium and astrologer behind her own platform, Soul Voyance. In an October blog post, she outlined her predictions for the new year, including a specific one about where the world is headed, economy-wise: “I’m seeing a new world currency that will be a digital world currency.”
The new currency, according to her, is se to fundamentally change how money is used worldwide. She said: “It will replace the dollar, the sterling, the euro, and all currencies currently known,” she said.
While she does not believe the change is one that will happen immediately, Avalon suggests it could be sooner than any of us expects.
“I don’t feel this year, but I feel over the next five to ten years, it will come out,” she explained, and added that the rollout of the new system would not happen at the same time globally, with it reaching different nations at various rates.
“It can be introduced to certain regions of the world first, and then eventually the whole world,” she added.
She was more specific about how the new coin will be called, saying “it will be named after a Roman god or goddess”, without disclosing which one.
Also according to the psychic, the upcoming financial shift will represent a major restructuring of the global economy – which will move away from national currencies towards a single digital alternative that would solve issues with central banks and governments.
Avalon offers her psychic readings, tarot, astrology, Akashic Records, and mediumship services through her Soul Voyance platform, which is also available on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, where she shares weekly updates of her visions.
In the same set of predictions from October, the mystic also warned of cyber attacks and power cuts that could affect the UK, the death of a major world leader early in 2026, followed by a high-scale state funeral and the emergence of a deadly epidemic within the next five years.
She also foresees rapid advances in artificial intelligence, the escalation of already existing global conflicts, and other significant geopolitical and technological events that she claims could shape the next few years.
