KATHMANDU, Oct 5: The exchange rate of the US dollar has seen a significant rise, according to the new rates set by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).

The US dollar is trading at Rs 142.34, while the buying rate for Sunday stands at Rs 141.74. The Euro is being sold at Rs 167.04, and the Pound Sterling at Rs 191.41. The Swiss Franc has been set at Rs 178.73.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 93.99, the Canadian dollar at Rs 101.92, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 110.40. The Japanese Yen is valued at Rs 9.66 for 10 units, while the Chinese Yuan stands at Rs 19.99. The Saudi Riyal is fixed at Rs 37.95, the Qatari Riyal at Rs 39.05, and the UAE Dirham at Rs 38.76.

Similarly, the Kuwaiti Dinar is trading at Rs 465.34. The rates are subject to fluctuation and are updated daily by Nepal Rastra Bank.
