Supporters attending Ipswich Town Women’s clash with Southampton at Portman Road later this month will have the chance to see the UEFA Women’s Euro trophy in the FanZone before the game.

Town host the south-coast side on Saturday, March 28, kicking off at 12.30pm and the trophy available in the FanZone from 10am onwards.

Only supporters with match tickets will be able to enter the FanZone when it opens at 10am, offering families activities, face painting and street food.

The trophy was first lifted by the England women’s national team after their victory over Germany at Wembley Stadium in 2022, before England retained it against Spain last summer.

Town have already drawn crowds of more than 10,000 to their previous two matches at Portman Road and expect another strong turnout this time too.

David Wright’s side have enjoyed an impressive campaign since the turn of the year, moving themselves off the bottom in the hunt for survival in the Women’s Super League 2.
