The war in West Asia pushed the rupee of a cliff, the ceasefire didn’t bring it back. Now, the conflict is escalating again, pushing the Indian currency down further.
The Indian rupee’s rebound following the April 8 ceasefire has proved short-lived, with the currency sliding to an all-time low of 95.3 per US dollar today (April 30), down over 3% from the peak after the US and Iran announced a ceasefire.
